Our story
Chef Yves grew up in France, in a small village at the base of the French Alps called Veyrier du Lac. Baking has always been a Fournier family tradition, and today, He represents the 5th generation of bakers in his family. An old family bakery sign from 1840 hangs on the wall of The French Oven. We are located in “The Ranch” shopping center on Scripps Trail in Scripps Ranch, across from Jerabek Park and the Swim and Racquet Club. Come taste one of our amazing croissants, grab a delicious sandwich on our house made baguette, or sip on a cappuccino and share one of our decadent desserts with a friend. The almond croissant is so decadent and all of the pastries are just beautiful.
It's a good thing they are not open all the time as I would be in trouble with weight gain from wanting 'one of everything'!
